Local artist Laura O'Hagan has produced this wonderful depiction of the currach Naomhóg that was damaged at sea. The currach brought it's crew safely to sea but tradition is that once a currach has been deemed not sea worthy then it is retired. 

This hand painted porcelain tile mosaic is inspired by the Camino Voyage that this famed currach took from Ireland to Northern Spain. It was also created in memory of the writer, poet and boat builder Danny Sheehy who was apart of the crew.
